Ashok Aggarwal is an experienced tech entrepreneur and investor building teams with a positive culture and high expectations. As a co-founder and Managing Partner at M&S Consulting, Ashok has helped build a world-class technology and strategy services organization dedicated to client satisfaction. As a co-founder and CSO at Intermed Labs, Ashok has helped build an award-winning MedTech Startup Studio that evaluates and brings ideas to market that can have the highest impacts on quality of life. Ashok has a solid background with traditional enterprise challenges and also market acumen with the latest trends in business, process, and technology, allowing him to effectively advise businesses on the best ways to bring all together.

Sarah Biller

Sarah Biller
Sarah Biller is the Executive Director of Vantage Ventures.  She is the co-Founder of the FinTech Sandbox, a Boston-based not for profit working providing entrepreneurs access to high quality data sets,  and Capital Market Exchange, a predictive analytics platform for institutional bond investors. Sarah was most recently the Chief Operating Officer for Innovation Head at State Street Bank’s Global Exchange division and Head of Innovation Ventures.  She was named by Innovate Finance in 2018 as one of the Top 150 global women leaders in FinTech and Lattice80’s list of Top 100 Women in FinTech in the UK and Hong Kong.  She sits on the board of multiple start-ups and has also held roles at Fidelity Investments; worked on MCI’s corporate venture team; and launched and led research divisions for Fortune 500 CFO’s and treasurers at the Corporate Executive Board.  Sarah has an undergraduate degree in Finance from West Virginia University. She is now focused on applying the lessons of entrepreneurship and reach of emerging technologies to build vibrant economies.


Greg Burton

Greg Burton has been the executive chairman of the boards of directors for Encova Mutual Insurance Group (EMIG) and Encova Holding, Inc. (EHI) since 2017. Effective January 1, 2022, he was named Chairman of both Boards.  EMIG is a regional insurance carrier writing in 28 states with over $1 billion in premium, $1.8 billion in surplus and $6 billion in assets.

Greg became BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Company CEO when the company was launched in 2006. He was also the company’s president from 2006 through May 2015. Greg previously led the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission (WVWCC). During Greg’s time at the WVWCC, he and his team played a central role in the successful reform of West Virginia’s workers’ compensation system. 

Greg has more than 30 years of management experience in the insurance and financial services industries and in both state and local government. His experience includes serving as cabinet secretary of the West Virginia Department of Administration (2001-03); city manager of Charleston (1998-00); chair and board member of the West Virginia Health Care Authority (1995-98); assistant vice president, Investment Banking with Ferris, Baker Watts (1994-98); vice president, head of corporate trust with Bank One (1985-93); and assistant vice president of Bank of West Virginia (1983-85). 

Greg holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in business, with a concentration in management and marketing, from the University of Charleston. He currently serves on the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce board of directors, University of Charleston board, and the City Holding Company Board of Directors.

Greg has been married to his wife Kim for 40 years.  They have two sons Nicholas and Nathan as well as four grandchildren.


Kevin Combs

Kevin is a founder and entrepreneur with a successful track record of building operating companies that produce outsized value, while maintaining core values of integrity, passionate pursuit of purpose and consistent sustainability. He has created over 2 billion dollars in returns to investors as a founder, with the fourth largest being in pharma/biotech sector (commercial lead for Lanoxin Canada post 2001 from GlaxoWelcome/acquisition of world-wide commercial rights to Cyclist in 2005/6 . While at Vatring-Vicro, sell of PBM Pharma in 2014, sourcing and closing of substantial equity position in Alexis 2014 leading to their ability to perform ph I trials with gene therapy for SMA and leading to their Nasdaqlisting in 2016 and sell to Novartis for $8.7bn in April 2018, build out of Flourish Health Solutions to initially serve as commercial outsourcing partner to PaxVax in 2016). In addition to these events, Kevin had the privilege to build out several successful commercial teams at GSK, AZ/MedImmune and Novartis Vaccines, leading to both value creation for the company/investors and career growth for the employees associated. More recently Kevin has helped co-found an affordable housing startup in North Carolina, a very exciting game tech company in Charlottesville, a digital/social media company in Charlottesville and joined boards of ArcheMedx, Ubicabus, Pavella, HIVE and the UVA Seed fund.


Ron Gabriel

Ron was a partner and later Chief Merchandising Officer (CMO) at Rugged Wearhouse and Gabriel Brothers Inc., two off-price retail chains. Ron has consulted in the apparel and convenience store channels with a focus on customer/product fit. Ron holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Management and an MBA degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Marketing from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business. Ron is currently an active investor in start-up and early-stage companies. He's also a partner at Tartan BD, a start-up company dedicated to bringing U.S. college educational opportunities to countries in the Middle East. 


Mike Green

Mike Green of Morgantown, a retired businessman with a background in business and technology, currently serves as the Chairman of the West Virginia Growth Investment Fund and Managing Director of Mountain State Capital, both providing mentorship and funding to entrepreneurs and early stage companies. Mr. Green is also a board member of the West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation. Mr. Green serves as an advisor, investor and board member for several privately held technology companies.

Marc A Halbritter

After nearly a 30-year career with Dominion Resources, Marc joined Blue Racer in March 2013 and currently serves as Sr. Vice President for Business Development. Prior to that, he served as the chief legal officer for Blue Racer, as well as overseeing the marketing of natural gas liquids for the company and its customers.

An attorney by training, Marc has over 35 years’ experience in the gas industry. He worked for several Dominion companies in a number of different capacities including VP of Operations, General Counsel and Managing Director for Dominion’s mid-stream business.

A cum laude graduate of West Virginia University with a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Marc also passed the exam for certified public accountants. In 2016, he received a Doctorate in Humane Letters from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Prior to joining Dominion, he served for three years as an administrative law judge for the West Virginia Public Service Commission and one year as General Counsel and Vice President, Finance for Strategic Ventures, Inc.

Active in a variety of industry trade associations, and civic and charitable causes, he has served terms as president of the Granville South Homeowners Association and the West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association (WVONGA); Senior Warden for the Christ Church Episcopal vestry; and, from 2013 – 2016, served as Chair of the Board of Trustees for West Virginia Wesleyan College. He also serves as a director for Energize West Virginia, WVONGA and Medbrook Children’s Charity.


Tom Heywood

Tom is Chair of Business Development and the immediate past Managing Partner of Bowles Rice, a position he held from 2008 to 2022. Tom has significant experience in health care, banking and corporate/commercial law, and is frequently called upon by clients and community leaders for advice on business matters related to acquisitions, divestitures and other transactional matters. An experienced facilitator, he regularly assists businesses and organizations in the strategic planning process. As a former Chief of Staff to the Honorable Gaston Caperton, Governor of West Virginia, Tom has extensive experience working with government officials at the federal, state and local levels, and is an active member of the Bowles Rice Government Relations team. Tom serves on many charitable and non-profit boards, and actively participates in various business and economic development organizations and trade associations.


Jeff James

Jeffrey James is Vice President, Business Development at Harvest Midstream Company. Prior to joining Harvest in March 2014, Mr. James worked for CONSOL Energy, a Pittsburgh based natural gas and coal producer, and Atmos Energy Marketing, the deregulated arm of the Dallas based natural gas utility. Mr. James has over 20 years of industry experience in business development, commercial midstream, gas marketing and corporate strategy roles.  He is also a member-investor of the Country Roads Angel Network.   

Mr. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.

Teresa Skaff Abou-Assaly

Teresa Skaff Abou-Assaly was born and educated in Kanawha County, WV. She  graduated from West Virginia University in 2000 with a B.S. in Accounting. Upon graduating she became an accountant for a large  Northern Virginia accounting form specializing in corporate healthcare .Then relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to pursue a career as CFO and operations manager  for Celebrations Nitelife and for the last 15 years she has been the CEO of Beachhouse Entertainment & Broadway Sports. During her tenure as CEO her company made the annual top 100 list of nightclubs in the USA 12 times. She currently is the President/CFO of Skaff Family Limited (a multi-state commercial and land developing company based in Charleston, WV) , she also is the President of Third & Third Company and Treasurer for Building & Remodeling Warehouse. All based locally out of West Virginia. She has over 20 years of accounting, business management & operations, marketing, hospitality and tourism experience. She currently resides in South Charleston, West Virginia and is active in many community programs, her church and is raising two little future Mountaineers.

Joe Zuccari

Joe leads the company in creating the strategic direction and vision and is involved in all aspects of the business. Through his fortune 50 company leadership experience with MCI (now Verizon), Servarus Systems is becoming one of the most innovative companies in the benefits administrative industry with a focus on supporting ACA initiatives. His combined technology and business background have provided a foundation for significant company growth.  Joe has over 30 years of business operations, benefits administration, information technology and management experience from leading industries, such as telecommunications, insurance, software, health care and hospitality.
